There are several free FTP applications available, but the more common ones include FileZilla and Cyberduck.

Before you begin uploading your files, you will need to configure your FTP software to work with VRmeta's servers. You will need the following information to configure the FTP client:

Windows Users

For Windows users, VRmeta recommends using FileZilla for transferring files over FTP.

1. Download FileZilla. Don’t worry, it’s free!

2. Connect to VRmeta’s FTP Server. Once you have downloaded and opened FileZilla, connect to VRmeta’s FTP server (ftp.vrmeta.io). To do this, fill in the appropriate values in the following fields:

3. Click the Quickconnect button. You should now be connected to VRmeta's FTP server. Congratulations - you’re ready to upload!

4. To upload your files. You have two options:

A. You can open up Windows Explorer (or however you feel comfortable browsing files on your computer), and drag and drop them into the lower right hand window within your FTP window.

B. You can also use the left-hand side window from within your FTP window to browse files on your computer.

Both of these methods achieve the same result choose whichever one you prefer.

That’s it! Now comes the hard part: waiting. Depending on your file sizes and your Internet upload speed, it will take some time to actually send the files to our server. FileZilla does provide an estimated waiting time as a reference, though this can vary.

Once you have uploaded all of your files, you can proceed to login to your VRmeta account, refresh your browser and you will see your videos appear as they download.

Final Note: VRmeta’s servers will automatically process all files uploaded via FTP. If you experience complications during or after uploading, such as a connectivity issue, this can cause an error in our servers processing the files.
